Dear Friends, As you may be aware, I have announced my candidacy for election to the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Board of Trustees. I am asking for your help, your support, your endorsement and most important your vote on November 8, 2011. My knowledge and experience in business and my involvement as a member of the shared decision-making process in the District qualify me to provide responsive leadership on the School Board. I will insure that student achievement remains our highest priority by working collaboratively with parents, teachers and staff. I believe in high academic standards and school accountability. I will work hard to ensure that our school district continues to improve test scores and that every dollar benefits our children’Äôs education. I will continue to work to expand our public and private partnerships to promote technology based education. As founder of www.Computers2Schools.org, I have donated more than 1,500 computers to schools. As YOUR School Board member, I will work to make sure that our children receive the academic skills and training necessary to prepare them for today’Äôs competitive job market and to enter college. My wife, Victoria and I have lived in La Mirada for more than 21 years. Our two children, Christy and Tori, currently attend school in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. A successful campaign requires the support and resources of many individuals. This support can come in many ways.
